The Weird Word wants your strangest nonfiction blogs!


July 9, 2021

The Weird Word has been fallow for a couple of months due to our focus on reading for the “Humans are the Problem: A Monster’s Anthology.” Now that our heads are out of the slush pile, we realize that our blog is in need of some incredibly fun and evocative posts.

And that’s where YOU come in.

The Weird Word is about sharing interesting, crazy, and creative stories with our readers (as well as literary insights and the ins and outs of the speculative fiction publishing business). From tall tales to real-life stories of harrowing adventures, we want all of the interesting blog content you can drum up.

And, while this is a volunteer-only position right now, we are happy to bring our marketing skills to the table for your benefit. Being a part of our blog team gets you access to our marketing machine which includes places for your books to be advertised on our website and inclusion in our social media.

If this sounds like an opportunity you want, we’d love to hear from you! Just fill out the pitch form below and we’ll contact you within 48 hours.
