About the Panelists
Gemma Files
Probably best known for her novel Experimental Film (Open Road Media), former film critic and teacher Gemma Files has been an award-winning horror author for almost thirty years. Her most recent collection, In That Endlessness, Our End (Grimscribe Press), was short-listed for the 2021 Bram Stoker Awards®.
Steve Toase
Steve Toase was born in England, and lives in Munich, Germany. His fiction has appeared in Nightmare Magazine, Shadows & Tall Trees 8, Analog, Three Lobed Burning Eye, Shimmer, and Lackington’s amongst others. His debut short story collection, To Drown in Dark Water, is now out from Undertow Publications.
Donyae Coles
Donyae Coles is a horror and weird fiction writer. She has had a number of her short works published including works in Nightmare Magazine, Lightspeed Magazine, and Psuedopod. Her debut novel is forthcoming. You can also find her artwork and poetry on her website at DonyaeColes.com.
S.P. Miskowski
S. P. Miskowski’s books have been nominated twice for a Bram Stoker Award® and four times for a Shirley Jackson Award. Her second novel, I Wish I Was Like You, was named This Is Horror Novel of the Year. Her stories appear in The Best Horror of the Year Vol. 10, Nightmare Magazine, Haunted Nights, Identity Theory, and others.
Willow Becker, Moderator
Actor, writer, marketing executive, and Editor-In-Chief of Weird Little Worlds Press, Willow Dawn Becker stays very busy. Her fiction publications can be found in Space and Time Magazine and Black Fox Literary Magazine. She has over 200 nonfiction publications in the areas of education, business, and marketing.
