The fabulous Linda D. Addison will be joining our all-star line-up for PLAYLIST OF THE DAMNED! Weird Little Worlds is excited to share Linda’s creative talent with the world in our 2023 anthology.
Linda D. Addison is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and the first African-American recipient of the world-renowned HWA Bram Stoker Award®. She has won this honor a total of five times. She has also received the 2017 Horror Writers Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award and was SFPA Grand Master of Fantastic Poetry in 2020.
Ms. Addison continues to astound the world with over She has over 400 poems, stories, and articles in print in numerous publications, including Essence magazine, Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine, Weird Tales magazine #364, Miscreations anthology, Don’t Turn Out the Lights anthology and The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction.
Linda has several published poetry story collections including Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes, How To Recognize A Demon Has Become Your Friend, and the highly recommended Being Full of Light, Insubstantial which explores the emotions and events surrounding her mother’s Alzehmiers diagnosis.
She is a founding member of a writing group, Circles In The Hair (CITH) which started meeting in 1990. She is the poetry editor for Space & Time Magazine. Her work has made frequent appearances over the years on the honorable mention list for Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror and Year’s Best Science-Fiction.
